Solution Performance Analysis
A detailed examination of solution test results, recommendations to solve performance gaps, and opportunities to improve value. It is used to derive meaning, risks and action items from solution performance measures and assist in the analysis of KPIs, business goals, and objectives.


A solution performance analysis receives input from Potential Value and Solution Performance Measure. It provides input to Enterprise Limitations and Solution Limitations
Details
Solution Performance Analysis contains 5 attributes and 1 task:
Project Name - Identifies the project the performance analysis is for.
Solution Performance versus Desired Value - A description of value provided to the business as a result of improving the performance.
Risk – A list of risks associated with the performance improvements. (The project manager uses these to update the Identified Risks repository.)
Trends – A description of any trends in the performance results.
Accuracy – A description of the reliability of the measurements used in the analysis.
Performance Variances – A description of variances in the performance results.
The Solution Performance Analysis artifact is created by the Analyze Performance Measures task.
Example
If evaluating the performance of a project to upgrade the CRM system, an analysis report might include metrics like:
Number of leads generated - A quantitative measure of the system's effectiveness.
Customer satisfaction scores - A qualitative measure of user experience.
Time to close a deal - A measure of efficiency.
By analyzing these metrics, the report can identify areas where the CRM system is performing well and areas where improvements can be made, such as:
Faster internet - To improve customer communication.
Improved Customer Satisfaction - Investigate top 5 user complaints.
Close the Deal Faster - Streamline the approval process.
Risks:
Deals not properly assessed, meaning good deals are rejected and bad deals are accepted.
Trends, Variance and Accuracy:
Most common complaints.
Internet speed is dependent on provider measurement and time of day.
Tendency for deals not to close on Friday afternoons.
