Enterprise Limitation
A description of the current limitations and how performance of the current solution is impacting the enterprise. They are used to understand the challenges that exist within the enterprise.


Enterprise Limitations are derived from the Current State description, the currently Implemented Solution and the Solution Performance Analysis.
Enterprise Limitations are input to Recommended Actions.
Details
An Enterprise Limitation contains 5 attributes and is produced by 1 operation.
Limitation ID - Uniquely identifies the limitation.
Enterprise Culture Assessment -A description of the beliefs, values and normal practices of the organization.
Stakeholder Impact Analysis – A list of impacts to project stakeholders due to a solution implementation.
Organizational Structure Changes – A description of how the organization will change as a result of the change.
Operational Assessment – A assessment of the ability for the organization to adapt to the change.
The Enterprise Limitation artifact is created by the Assess Enterprise Limitations task.

Limitation1:
Packaging processes are ad-hoc and undocumented.
A product packaging process and procedures to be documented.
Warehouse staff need to be trained in the new process.
Additional supervisory staff will be required to regulate and measure the process.
Ware house staff welcome the change if it makes their work less chaotic and more efficient, and savings can be used to offset the cost of the training, regulation and measurement.
