Stakeholder Engagement describes an agreement with stakeholders to engage in business analysis activities and interact with the business analyst when necessary.


The Stakeholder Engagement information uses information from a Business Analysis Performance Assessment and the Stakeholder Engagement Approach. It is used by Any Stakeholder who will interact with the BA during business analysis activities.

Stakeholder Engagement contains 3 attributes and 1 operation:
Gain Agreement on Commitments – An agreement to commit to the project, in terms of expectations and outcomes from the stakeholder engagement.
Monitor Stakeholder Engagement – A record of the stakeholder engagement containing meeting minutes.
Collaboration – The contribution from the stakeholder, in terms of their opinions and expertise.
Manage Stakeholder Collaboration produces the Stakeholder Engagement artifact.
Dependencies
Stakeholder Engagement is derived from Business Needs and Performance Objectives.


The Stakeholder Engagement is dependent on the Business Analysis Approach, the Business Analysis Performance Assessment and the Stakeholder Engagement Approach.
