Elicitation Result

Its purpose is to define and understand the current state. Elicitation results are used to create requirements for a future state.

Elicitation results receive input from the Elicitation Activity Plan

They are input to the Current State description, Requirements, and Risk Analysis Results.

An Elicitation Result contains 4 attributes and is produced by 2 operations.

Guide Elicitation Activity - In the form of a record of the elicitation activity.
Capture Elicitation Outcomes – In the form of a description of the elicitation result
The Assess Risks task produces Risk Analysis Results.

Life Cycle

Unconfirmed – The Elicitation Result is being captured and verified.
Confirmed - The information in the Elicitation Result has been confirmed as accurate and may be used as input to analysis artifacts.
Archived – The Elicitation Result is no longer used by the project.
