Business Requirement

Represents goals, objectives and outcomes that describe why a change his needed and how success will be assessed.

A Business Requirement is part of the Current State, and is used to derive the Future State.

A Business Requirement contains 2 attributes.

Requirement ID – Identifies the business requirement.
Business Needs - A textual description of the business need that is captured by the requirement.

A Business Requirement is produced by the Analyze Current State task.

As a support analyst,

I want to be informed whenever a trouble ticket is submitted by a customer,

So that I do not have to search for new tickets on a regular basis, in order to assign work to myself.
